Marriottsway

We’ll map it before we build it.

Every job follows the same four stops. You’ll always know where we are, what comes next and what it costs.

  1. Stop 1

    Tell us the problem

A chat, in person or on a call, about how the job works today, where it goes wrong and who has to put up with it. Bring the spreadsheet, the paper form or whatever you use now. You don’t need to know what software you want.

    What you get
An honest view on whether software is the answer. Sometimes it isn’t, and we’ll say so.
    How long
    About an hour. No charge.
  2. Stop 2

    We map it out

We go away and write a route plan: what we’ll build, in what order, how long each stretch takes and one fixed price for the lot.

    What you get
A route plan that’s yours to keep, whether you go ahead or not.
    How long
Usually within a week of the chat.
  3. Stop 3

    We build it

We build in short stretches and put working software in front of you early. You try it on real work, tell us what’s wrong, and we shape it with you as we go.

    What you get
Regular check-ins and something you can actually click on, not a progress report.
    How long
Most jobs take between four and twelve weeks.
  4. Stop 4

    We keep it running

Once it’s live, we stay on hand for fixes, tweaks and the things you only notice after a month of real use.

    What you get
A real person on the other end, and any new work priced up front like everything else.
    How long
For as long as you’re using it.

What a route plan looks like

One page. It shows where you are now, each stop along the way, where you’ll end up, and one fixed price. If something changes, we update the plan and agree it with you before carrying on.

We call quotes route plans because that’s what they are. You can see the whole journey before you commit to any of it.

Questions people ask

How much does it cost?
It depends on the job, which is why we don’t publish a day rate. After the first chat we’ll give you a fixed price in the route plan, and that’s what you pay. If you want to add something along the way, we’ll price it separately and agree it with you before we start on it.
Do I own the software?
Yes. It’s built for your business and it’s yours, code included. If you ever want someone else to look after it, you can take it with you.
We already pay for some software. Can you work with it?
Usually, yes. Plenty of jobs are about joining up the tools you already have, like your accounts package or online shop, rather than replacing them.
Do you only work in Norfolk?
Most of our clients are in Norfolk and Suffolk, which means we can pop over. We’re happy to work further afield on video calls.
What do you build it with?
Mostly Laravel, a well-established and widely used web framework. What you get runs in a web browser on any computer, tablet or phone, so there’s nothing to install.
What if something breaks?
Email us. Looking after it is part of the plan from day one, so you’re never left with something nobody can fix.

Tell us what’s slowing you down.

A first chat costs nothing. We’ll tell you plainly whether software is the answer and, if it is, what the route looks like.
