Marriottsway

A guide who’s walked it before.

Marriottsway is a small software studio in Norwich, Norfolk. We build bespoke systems for businesses that have outgrown their spreadsheets, paper forms or old software.

Where the name comes from

Marriott’s Way is the old railway line out of Norwich. The trains are long gone and it’s now a path people walk, run and cycle all the way to Aylsham. It connects the two places this studio comes from.

It’s also a fair picture of the work. A business turns up lost in spreadsheets or stuck with an old system. We’ve walked that kind of route before, so we can say what’s ahead, where the hard bits are, and where it ends: with something that works.

Who you’ll work with

Jimmy builds the systems. You’ll deal with him from the first chat to the day it goes live, and after that too. No account managers, and nobody passing you between departments.

That keeps things simple. The person who listens to the problem is the person who builds the fix, so nothing gets lost along the way.

How we work

Your problem first

We start with the job you’re doing and what’s in the way. The software comes second.

Plain directions

We’ll tell you what happens next and when. You won’t hear about the tech unless you ask.

No surprises

Fixed prices, agreed in writing before we start. If something changes, we talk about it first.

Tell us what’s slowing you down.

A first chat costs nothing. We’ll tell you plainly whether software is the answer and, if it is, what the route looks like.
